Business approval required

This is a proposed refund structure—not an existing, approved Junior policy. Confirm the exact rule and request-handling process before making this page public or linking it at checkout.

01 Scope and an important approval note

This policy applies to purchase of the digital ClearIAS Junior Foundation Course through the authorised checkout. The refund rule below is a proposed operating policy and must be approved by the business before publication or use at checkout. It is not evidence of a previously approved Junior-specific policy.

02 Proposed standard cancellation rule — approve before publication

Proposed rule: Once access to the purchased digital learning materials has been activated, payments are generally not refundable solely because of a change of mind, lack of attendance or failure to use the course. If a learner has not received the purchased service, a payment was duplicated or incorrectly charged, or a material service deficiency arises, the parent may request investigation, an appropriate remedy, and where applicable a refund.

This proposed rule is subject to mandatory consumer rights and any more specific terms prominently shown before payment. It must not be replaced with an absolute “no refund under any circumstances” statement.

03 Before paying

Parents should review the published course inclusions, Class 3–12 suitability, access period, available recorded lessons, Sunday workshop schedule, supported devices, fees, discount eligibility and policies. A free demonstration can help families evaluate the teaching approach before purchase.

04 Payment made but access not received

If payment succeeds but access is not activated, contact support with the order/reference number, payment date, registered phone/email and a brief description. Please do not send full card numbers, CVV, banking passwords or one-time passwords.

We should first verify the payment status and attempt to deliver the purchased access. If the service cannot be provided or a refund is required, the case should be resolved accordingly.

05 Duplicate payment, incorrect charge or cancellation request

Contact [SUPPORT_EMAIL] or the support team with the relevant transaction information. We will review the transaction, any activated access and the applicable legal and payment-provider requirements, and communicate the decision.

Parents may request cancellation of future services or renewal arrangements, if any; this does not by itself create a refund entitlement for services already delivered. Any future recurring payment requires separate explicit authorisation where applicable.

06 Instalment plans and promotional discounts

Instalment eligibility, payment dates and the total amount payable should be shown clearly before purchase. Do not assume that a partial instalment payment automatically cancels the remaining contractual payment obligation or creates a refund. The approved terms of the specific plan must be disclosed at checkout.

Coupons and promotions may change, but a correctly confirmed payment should not be retrospectively repriced without lawful grounds.

07 Review and refund processing

Requests should receive an acknowledgement and a fair assessment. Where the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules apply, the grievance-handling requirements will be followed. Accepted refunds will be returned using an appropriate payment channel within the period required by applicable law or payment rules.

Complete before publication: [REFUND_REQUEST_WINDOW_IF_ANY], [APPROVED_PROCESSING_TARGET], and the named contact or grievance officer must be finalised by the operator. Avoid advertising an unapproved refund deadline.
